Horror/Comedy/Action Video Requirements
Video Requirements
-Script outlining enough 3 to 5 second shots with audio cues, dialogue, camera cues, a special effect, foley and room tone to introduce your characters, tell the story and wrap it up.
Video containing the following:
-Title
-Production Logo
-3 minute or more video based on horror, comedy or action genre
--Introduce main character(s)
--Define the situation that the characters must cope with in the story
--Epic scene that highlights the apex of the main plot
--Wrap-up the story line
--Special Effect
--Dialogue
--Room Tone
--Foley
-Rolling credits (see the must have tab for credit information
-Copyright Free Music (30 second or less of commercial music)
-choose something that can be used in your video
-the exercise footage and film footage do not need to be the same.
Requirements:

-You will continue to use appropriate composition technique while filming scenes.

-You will change the shot every 3 to 5 seconds to show a different perspective of a scene or to change the content of a scene.
-You will use Premiere Pro CS6 to edit and organize your footage into a 3 minute or longer film.
-You will use spoken dialog and/or voice overs in this film.

-You will change the volume of the music to allow foley effects and room tone to be heard at important points in the film. You can also change the sound level to transition to a new piece of music.
-Video fades will be applied when the location changes or time has lapsed. Cut ins and cut aways will be used for a single scene with multiple shots from different angles.
-Exercise #2 uses a tutorial of your choice to create a special effect short film that can be applied to your horror/comedy/action film.

Horror/COmedy/Action Learning Targets

-students will learn how to add video clips, music, special effect, voice over or dialogue and foley sound effects to Premiere to organize a video based on their script
-students will learn how to edit and export a 3 minute of longer film with title, production logo, content and credits.
