Work and Breakdown

Our goal is to finish up vocab today.
This is pretty simple... finish going through the information today and from this information you will be having a test Tuesday.  You will be finding some of the answers on your own.

THEN..

We are breaking into groups...
getting cameras out / tripods / learning how to work with them / understanding all that good stuff!

Nothing like just jumping in to the goods!

Welcome to Video Arts!

Welcome to 2nd Semester.... aka  The WR videoarts

Big few weeks ahead to set us up for the semester:

Work with composition / audio / script writing / editing / and some bells n whistles.

Motivation:

YOU are the one who will be getting these projects together.. and you are the one that will make it happen.

I will definitely do all I can to assist but YOU are the ultimate do'er.

Trust:

Without it we have nothing.

Please take the time over the next two days to:
-complete your final video
-complete an evaluation based on the final video
-complete exercise #3
-update you script as needed
I will be around after school all week if you need extra time to wrap-up your assignments.

Wednesday will be a film festival.  Feel free to bring treats to share.

5 More Days!!!

Great focus!

Everything is due January 21.  That includes your evaluation, updated script and exercise #3.

Communication

As we are wrapping up the semester, please be sure that you are communicating important information to me.
This could include:

-completing your final semester script
-turning in exercise #2
-turning in your stop motion video

Today is the last day to export your stop motion/promo/music videos.  Get your evaluation completed and turned in to me today,  

Scripts for your final film should be worked on today and tomorrow.  Be sure that you share the script with me.  I will be completing a progress grade on it.

Just to clarify...a documentary film is a nonfictional motion picture intended to document some aspect of reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction or maintaining a historical record
