Finish well. Check your grades. If you are finished with all the requirements, complete a cinemagraph or special effect tutorial of your choice. Find one using After Effects for a challenge.

Equipment Return

All Equipment is due today!
Any missing equipment will be turned into the office as a financial obligation. I prefer to have the equipment over money, so please do the right thing.

Cinemagraphers

Cinemagraphs are made a variety of ways.  The following links were tutorials that I thought were helpful.
This is a great option for your 3rd tutorial, and for your final movie with the time we have left.
There are still people who have not turned in their final script.

Remember to get your equipment turned in by next Monday.  If the equipment is not returned, you will be place on obligation for the cost of replacing the missing equipment.

Final Film

Two weeks and a few days...

• the genre films are past due. If you have not turned it in, your grade will reflect that it is missing.
• the final film of the term is due by June 1st for seniors and June 2nd for everyone else.
• I would love to have a film festival day, but that means that everyone has completed and turned in the films before June 1st.
• Anyone who finishes their films early will be working on exercise #3. This is either a tutorial of your choice or a cinemagraph.

McMillan Library Special Event

Please share this with your video group and especially those interested in filmmaking as a hobby or career.  The Library is also installing a video studio which will be done soon, and may be another outlet for students who may want to continue with video in their future.

Thought some of your students might like this program.

We are showing a documentary film and the director will be on hand to introduce it and Q&A afterwards.  Part of our move to bring in makers.

Ceiling went in our the Studio this week and the lights should be in by week's end.  Then we are cleaning the floors and moving all the equipment back in.
